The NYC office facilitates the internationalization of AI company Freeday

*After the rapid growth of the platform with digital employees (AI assistants) in 2021 in the Benelux, further internationalization follows in the USA. From this new office, the sales activities and customer support of Freeday will also be rolled out further within America in 2022.

Momentum

Labor costs are relatively high in America, and the labor market is becoming increasingly scarce. Freeday realizes an average cost saving of over 50% for its Dutch clients. ‘The Big Resignation’ – a relatively new trend – led to a large group of employees in the USA switching employers or even quitting their jobs before finding a new one in 2021. In response, more and more employers are choosing to robotize boring and repetitive work. This results not only in significant savings on employee costs but also in more challenging work for real employees.

Suitable market in NYC

Organizations can hire 'digital employees' (AI robots) from Freeday. These employees assist teams within the contact center, finance & accounting, HR, and the IT helpdesk in taking over repetitive and time-consuming actions. "The USA, due to its scale and business culture, is extremely well-suited for our services. Our results-driven proposition is well received. After thorough market analysis, we know which regions within the USA are promising and in which industries the most challenges lie," says Marcus Groeneveld, co-founder of Freeday. Growth of Freeday within multiple regions in the USA seems natural in the long term, although he does not want to divulge much about this.

Customer demands are rising

Where eCommerce giants are setting the new standard, it is becoming increasingly challenging for many organizations to achieve the same level of service. Digital employees can temporarily scale up during peak moments and often work as the first line of contact. The 'first response time' of an organization to a query via phone, mail, and for example, WhatsApp is thus reduced to 0. Complex questions are escalated to real employees.
